Matthew McConaughey backs education scheme

The 42-year-old actor and his jk livin Foundation have pledged support to the Communities In Schools organisation's scheme, which aims to raise funds to keep millions of students in education and mentor them, reported Contactmusic.
McConaughey helped launch the Give Education School the Nation campaign and said that he is a firm believer in the initiative.
"I created the jk livin so we can help children make positive and healthy changes in themselves and the world around them - and at the most basic level for many, that starts with graduating high school," he said.
"I am a firm believer in the power and necessity of mentorship, and by teaming with Give Education, we're ensuring that people learn about the inspiring and effective work mentors are doing across the country to combat the dropout crisis," he added.
