Medium sugar prices weakened further at the Vashi wholesale market here today on sustained stockist selling amid poor demand from retailers.
Meanwhile, small sugar ruled stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 2/13 per quintal to Rs 2,720/2,922 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,722/2,935.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,630/2,750 per quintal.
