An international training programme on 'Procurement Management in the Health Sector', jointly organised by HLL Management Academy (HMA) and the World Bank, began here today.
Former Union Secretary Dr Poornalingam inaugurated the five-day workshop, which is being attended by around 25 participants from India and abroad.
HMA, the learning division of HLL Lifecare Limited (HLL), is providing training across various fields of management and healthcare procurement to the participants, who would also receive training on the World Bank's new procurement framework, a release said here.
Anitha Thampi, HMA CEO, and Dr Mohan Das N K, Director of Angloscape, the Thiruvananthapuram-based Indo-British corporate training group, also participated in the inaugural function.
