Mentally disturbed person allegedly kills boy near hospital

An eight-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed to death by a mentally disturbed person near a hospital here on Friday, police said.

The 28-year-old man from Haryana was brought here by his family for treatment. Soon after they alighted from the vehicle outside a mental hospital, the man entered a house and killed the boy, Station House Officer at Adarsh Nagar Police Station said.

The man has been detained and the matter is being probed, the SHO said.
