Merck Q3 net up 11 pc at Rs 31.68 cr

Drug and chemical firm Merck today reported 11.15 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs 31.68 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 28.50 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Merck said in a BSE filing.

The company follows the January-December fiscal.

Total revenue from operations of the company stood at Rs 312.72 crore for the quarter under consideration. It was Rs 278 crore for the same period a year ago.

Shares of Merck closed 1.05 per cent higher at Rs 1,148.85 per scrip on BSE today.
