Mettur Dam level stands at 87.15 feet

Water level in the Mettur Dam today stood at 87.15 feet as against its full level of 120 feet.

The inflow into the dam was 3,277 cusecs while the outflow 15,800, PWD officials said.

Water storage was 49.451 tmc as against the capacity of 93.4 tmc.

Salem district received widespread rainfall last night with the Met office recording 23.8 mm in th past 24 hours till 8.30 am today.
