Shanghai-based medical device firm MicroPort Scientific Corporation today announced the start of India operations through its wholly owned subsidiary.
"The establishment of the Indian subsidiary marks another solid step forward in strengthening the global presence of MPSC," Jonathan Chen, Senior VP, International Operations and Investor Relations at MicroPort Scientific Corporation, said.
The company provides medical solutions covering 10 major disciplines including interventional cardiology, orthopedics, endovascular, neurovascular, electrophysiology, diabetes and endocrine management, surgical management and others.
"We are here not only at an opportune time, but I genuinely feel that Indian medical ecosystem is maturing and forcing manufacturers to provide the best in class medical care at affordable prices," MicroPort Scientific India Managing Director Riyaz Desai said.
