Army has busted a militant hideout in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, a defence spokesperson said today.
Acting on a tip off, troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a search operation and busted a hideout in forest area of Deolmarg-Thinmarg in Mahore tehsil of Reasi district yesterday, he said.
The recoveries from the hideout yielded one AK 47 rifle with two magazines and 30 rounds, two pouchs, one Yaesu Set, one blanket, two utensils and one knife, he added.
The hideout was in a natural cave which was three feet in depth and six feet wide and covered by boulder, the spokesman said.
