Militants target police station with grenade attack; 4 hurt

Militants today targeted a police station in old Srinagar city, lobbing a grenade at it and injuring four persons, including three policemen.

The grenade exploded in the compound of the police station in Safakadal, a police official said.

Three policemen and a civilian were injured in the incident, the official said.

He said the injured have been hospitalized and their condition is said to be stable.
