Most parts of Punjab and Haryana today continued to register minimum temperatures above normal limits with mist and shallow fog occurring at isolated places in the region.
Minimum temperatures hovered between one to five degrees Celsius above normal limits in parts of Punjab and Haryana, the MeT office said here.
Amritsar continued to remain the coldest place in the plains of Punjab and Haryana registering a low of 3.8 degrees Celsius, which was one notch above normal.

While Ludhiana settled at a low of 7.3 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal, the minimum at Hisar was 8.8 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
Among other places, Narnaul had a low of 7.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal followed by 9.3 degrees Celisus at Patiala, three notches above normal, 9.6 degrees Celisus at Chandigarh, five notches above normal, ten degrees Celsius at Karnal, three notches above normal and 10.9 degrees Celsius at Ambala, five notches above normal.
Besides, few places in the region, including Hisar, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda had Narnaul had shallow fog in the morning.
The MeT forecast foggy conditions in the morning at isolated places in the region during the next 24 hours.
