Minor gangraped by three youths

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three youths at Gharishyam village under Kandhla police station in Shamli district, police said today.

Station House Officer (SHO) Naresh Pal said a case has been registered against Nirmal Kumar, Anil and Bittu, who all are absconding.

According to complaint filed by victim's father, the girl had gone to a field yesterday when the accused took her to a nearby sugarcane field and gangraped her.

They also threatened the girl not to reveal the incident to anyone, police said.

The victim, who was found unconscious in the fields, has been sent for medical examination, they said, adding the matter is being investigated.
