A 12-year-old girl went missing from a north-east Delhi locality after which locals staged a protest in the locality blocking traffic and damaging six buses alleging police inaction, officials said today.
The girl went missing from near her house in Nandnagri last evening and police are yet to trace her.
The girl had gone for a tuition class but did not return home. Her parents approached police after they could not trace her.
Girl's family and locals protested this morning and blocked GTB Road for an hour claiming police inaction.
Protesters dispersed after senior police officials met them and assured them of taking necessary action.
