A man has been charged for kidnapping a minor girl who had gone missing from a village here, police said today.
The girl,14, was missing since February 4 from Fatehpur Chandela village of the district and the cops were informed yesterday by the family, police said.
In their complaint, the family has alleged that one Ramkishan, a resident of Budana village lured the girl to go with him on the pretext of marriage.
A case under sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping) and 366A (procuration of minor girl) of IPC has been registered against Ramkishan, Investigating Officer Jagdish Chand said, adding, efforts are on to trace the girl.
