Miranda Kerr to take break from modelling

Supermodel Miranda Kerr is planning to take a break from modelling and says she wants to focus her energies on her passions.

The 29-year-old, who has a son with actor husband Orlando Bloom, is said to be no longer part of Victoria's Secret Angel, reported Contactmusic.

"I've been modelling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realised I needed to prioritise my time," said Kerr.

The model has decided to relocate her family from Los Angeles to New York.
 

"This is a natural evolution. It's really important I give 100 per cent to my clients and I have to be careful to make strategic long-term decisions with my personal and business interests.

"I've reached a point in my career where I'm developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions," she added.
