Former 'The OC' star Mischa Barton could lose her Beverly Hills mansion in foreclosure if she fails to pay USD 100,000.
The actress has been slapped with a default notice after she faulted on the mortgage payment of the house for nearly five months, reported TMZ reported.
The huge house has 8 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, 3 guesthouses on 1.2 acres.
The actress bought the house for USD 6.4 million in 2005 and took out a loan for USD 4.2 million.
Barton has been trying to sell the house since 2010 but she failed to find buyers.
'The OC' star has been trying to make a comeback following a troubled period.
