A 10-year-old boy was injured
after a bullet shot by miscreants missed the target and brushes past him at Beniapukur in central Kolkata, police said today.
Four persons on two motorbikes rode into Haji Lane of Beniapukur area and fired randomly at a man identified as Pappu who was standing outside his house last night.
Pappu managed to flee while one bullet touched the left leg of the boy, Mohammed Rayan Alam.
"Rayan was going to a shop to buy something when bullet brushed past him. He was taken to the National Medical College and Hospitals where he was treated for the injury and released later," a police officer said.
A feud was there between Pappu and the attackers, the police said adding an FIR was lodged against the four.
