A fisherman died after he went out to sea for fishing in Nagayalanka mandal of Krishna district, official sources said here today.
Fisheries Deputy Director Salmonraju said that a fisherman from Edurumondi village of Nagayalanka mandal went to sea for fishing on September 4, but failed to return since two days, after which his family members and relatives began searching for him.
Today, his body was traced at the Pedapallem area near the sea and the deceased gisherman was identified as R Veeraraghavaiah (59).
The Nagayalanka police sent the body to a government hospital for postmortem.
