MNF to spport Sangma

(MNF) in Mizoram will support Purno Agitok Sangma in the Presidential election on July 19, party sources said today.

The Core Committee and Political Affairs Committee of the MNF took the decision last night.

MNF urged all MPs and MLAs in the north eastern region to support Sangma and appealed to all the scheduled tribe and Christian legislators in the country to vote for him.

MNF has four legislators in the 40-member Assembly and one MP.
