Mob hurls stones at hotel alleging child trafficking

Alleging child trafficking, a mob hurled stones at a hotel located at Railway Road Bajaria here and shouted slogans against its owners, police said.

SP Salman Taj Patil said local residents complained of the hotel renting out rooms to people without verifying documents. They alleged its owners were abetting child trafficking.

Some people saw a man, aged around 24, and a minor girl checking into the hotel and started protesting. They threw stones at the hotel building, police said.

Owners of some nearby shops informed police of the incident who reached the spot and arrested the hotel's manager.
