The mobile cancer detection unit of the Delhi based all India Marwari Yuva Manch arrived in Puducherry today on a three day mission.
Naveen Tholiya, the president of the Puducherry unit of the Manch said that the customized cancer screening and awareness vehicle is intended to enable potential patients to identify the ailment at the early stage and to take early medical care.
The vehicle had all the facilities to conduct tests such as blood sugar, BMI (body mass index), complete blood count, mammography, X ray, CA125 blood test for ovarian cancer and for detection of oral cancer.

The mobile unit had already covered several areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
It would provide service for six and half hours from10 a.M.fromtomorrowand nearly 250 persons can be screened on each of the three days.
