Mom's going to handle my wedding preparations: Elle King

American singer Elle King says she has asked her mother to overlook preparations for her wedding to fiance Fergie.

The 26-year-old songstress shared her wedding plans at the red carpet of the 2016 CMT Music Awards at the Bridgestone Arena .

The "Under the Influence" hitmaker hinted that she didn't like a complicated preparation, which is usually very time-consuming, reported Aceshowbiz.

"Apparently people plan their wedding like years in advance! I found this place, I found a wedding planner, and they were like, 'It's going to be like USD 300,000'," she said.

King joked, "Then I was like, 'Babe, Vegas is like a quick flight.' So I don't know. I'm just going to let my mom handle it.
