Four persons, among them a mother-daughter duo, were killed on the spot and another was injured in a road mishap involving three vehicles here this evening, police said.
The accident took place at Patane-phata near here in North Maharashtra.

The deceased were identified as Prachi Dave (32), her daughter Shivay (1), Ruchi Shah (28), all residents of Dhule, and the car driver Rafique Ahmed, a native of Nashik, they said.
The injured, Shintan Dave, is being treated in a hospital in Malegaon, police added.
The Dave family was on its way to Dhule from Mumbai when the mishap occurred.
