Mother daughter duo commit suicide in Perambalur

: A polytechnic college teacher and her mother allegedly committed suicide by hanging from theceiling fan in their house here.

The victim, identified as Karthika (25) and her mother, a widow, were found hanging in their house today.

Karthika's brother Danish Babu is working in Chennai and was living with his family.

The reason for the suicide was not known yet, they added.
