Mother-daughter hacked to death

A mother-daughter duo was allegedly hacked to death by three persons in Kanarkhi village here, police said today.

The incident that took place last night came to light this morning when dead bodies of Pramiya (65) and her daughter Saraswati (35) were found in their house in Rampurmathura area.

Both of them were hacked by a sharp-edged weapon, police said.

An FIR in this regard has been registered against Saraswati's husband Vinod, his father Lalu, and one Mallu, SHO Rampurmathura Ajay Kumar Singh said.

Saraswati had filed a dowry case against her husband with whom she did not have good relations, he said adding, police is probing the matter.
