Mother, toddler die after snake bite

A 28-year-old woman and her one-year-old son died due to snake bite in Singai village, police said here today.

Chandrakanta, her child Golu and her husband Ashok were bitten by a snake last night, they said.

Police said the mother and son succumbed to the bite, while Ashok was being treated at a hospital.
