Motorcycle thief arrested

Police today claimed to have arrested a motorcycle thief within two hours of carrying a theft.

Ankush Sharma was arrested within two hours after a complaint was registered at the Pacca Danga Police Station, a police official said.

Police swung into action as soon as the complaint was registered and a flash message was sent to all the checkpoints in the area through which the thief was tracked, he said.

A case has been registered against him and further investigations are on in the case, the official said adding that the owner was handed over the bike.
