The Madhya Pradesh cabinet today decided to regularise 2.37 lakh contractual teachers in the state, an official said.
During its meeting chaired by MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the cabinet also decided that no contractual employee in other government departments would be retrenched, the official said.
The cabinet decided that the contractual staffers would be given 15 days privilege leave, 13 days casual leave and 10 days other leave in a calendar year, he added.
