The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has forwarded a complaint of amassing wealth through illegal means against three senior IAS officers to the Lokayukta police of Madhya Pradesh.
"Complaints keep coming to us and we do the needful as per the law," a Lokayukta police officer told PTI when contacted, without giving any information about the complaint against the three IAS officers who belong to the MP cadre.
A CBI official said the complaint was first received by the Central agency's Delhi office, which forwarded it to its anti-corruption branch (ACB) in Bhopal in November.

The ACB forwarded it to the Lokayukta police.
"We can't register a case against the IAS officers in question because of a notification issued by the Madhya Pradesh government in 2012, which prohibits us from registering corruption cases against state government officers," the CBI officer said.
