Muder accused arrested from Dwarka

A person wanted in three cases of murder, attempt to murder, and threatening an eyewitness in a murder case has been arrested from Dwarka, police said Wednesday.

The accused, Vicky Yadav (26), is a resident of Najafgarh, they said, adding that a country-made pistol and a live cartridge was also recovered from his possession.

"An information was received that Yadav, who is wanted in three cases, including a case of murder and attempt to murder, will come near Golf Link Road in Dwarka, to meet his friend," said Rajesh Deo, DCP Crime Branch.

"Subsequently, a trap was laid and the accused was apprehended," he added.

 

Yadav came in contact with a criminal, Vikas , in 2014 and became his close associate and an accomplice.
