The newly appointed Mumbai Police Commissioner Dattatray Padsalgikar today met Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao at the Raj Bhavan here.
This was a courtesy visit, an official release said.
IPS officer Padsalgikar on January 31 had taken charge as the top cop of the Mumbai Police from outgoing Mumbai Police Commissioner Ahmed Javed, who is set to head to Saudi Arabia as its Ambassador after he retired from police service.
