Municipal Commissioner caught red-handed accepting bribe

A Municipal Commissioner in Warangal district of Telangana state was caught red handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000, it was announced here today.

Mahabubabad Municipal Commissioner T Raja Lingu was caught red handed by ACB officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a complainant for doing him an official favour, an ACB release stated.

The bribe amount was seized from Raja Lingu and further investigation is on, the release said.
