Mustard oil prices edged higher by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand from local parties.
However, other edible and non-edible oils after trading in a narrow range in limited deals settled at last levels.
Traders said mild demand from local parties against restricted supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in mustard oil prices.
