Mustard oil prices drifted by Rs 50 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on subdued demand against adequate supplies from producing region.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said sluggish demand against adequate supplies from producing regions mainly kept pressure on mustard oil.

In the national capital, mustard expeller (Dadri) declined by Rs 50 to Rs 7,300 per quintal.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,400, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,300-9,400, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
