Cardamom futures plunged 1.68 per cent to Rs 800 per kg in futures trade today as participants cut down their bets, taking negative cues from spot market on subdued demand.
Besides, adequate stocks in the physical market on higher supplies from producing region and weak exports enquiries put pressure on cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in January month dropped by Rs 13.70, or 1.68 per cent to Rs 800.00 per kg in business turnover of 93 lots.
