Press Trust of India New Delhi
Refined soya oil prices moved down by 0.44 per cent to Rs 657.25 per 10 kg in futures trade today as participants reduced their exposure amid sluggish demand in the spot market.

At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in March declined by Rs 2.90, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 657.25 per 10 kg with an open interest of 54,320 lots.

Similarly, the oil for April shed Rs 2.45, or 0.38 per cent to Rs 648.75 per 10 kg in 20,300 lots.

Analysts said offloading of positions by traders following easing demand in the physical market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing regions, mainly weighed on refined soya oil prices at futures trade.
