Two-wheeler finance company Muthoot Capital Services today reported a 6 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 6.44 crore in the quarter ended December.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 6.06 crore in the same period previous year.
Total income rose by 20.9 per cent to Rs 70.07 crore in the period from Rs 57.94 crore in the same period last year, the company said in a statement here.

The total loan portfolio increased to Rs 1,269 crore (including the managed portfolio) at the end of the quarter as against Rs 934 crore in the corresponding period last year, recording a rise of 35.9 per cent.
Muthoot Capital achieved 46 per cent growth in the two-wheeler loan disbursement in the quarter.
It has disbursed 56,174 two-wheeler loans amounting to Rs 270.95 crore compared to 39,644 two-wheeler loans worth Rs 186.05 crore in the year-ago quarter.
