A former gram pradhan, involved in several cases of Muzaffarnagar riots and absconding since last year, has been arrested here, police said today.
Harpal Malik was arrested yesterday, SP, Rural, Alok Priyadareshi said, adding, SIT has found his involvement in six riots cases.
Malik who was absconding till now was produced in court here.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar has sent him to 14 days judicial custody in this connection.
