Naidu meets Advani, Joshi before filing nomination
The NDA's vice president candidate M Venkaiah Naidu today met BJP veterans L K Advani and Murli Mahonar Joshi before his filing papers, a government official said.
Advani and Joshi are members of the BJP's margdarshak mandal.
The BJP's Parliamentary Board had yesterday picked Naidu as the NDA's vice presidential nominee.
He and joint opposition candidate Gopalkrishna Gandhi filed their nominations today for the August 5 vice presidential poll.
