Nalco CMD injured in accident

The Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO), Tapan Kumar Chand, was injured when his car collided with a tractor at Kaushalyagang near here.

The accident took place yesterday night when Chand was returning from Puri after attending a programme at the ralway station in the seaside town, a NALCO official said.

Chand was admitted to a private hospital here and is stated to be out of danger, the official said quoting hospital sources.
