The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has decided to plant 13 croretrees of various species between July 1-31.
As per the plan, NMC Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe and other officers planted saplings at Dadasaheb Phalke memorial, located at the foothills of the famous Pandav caves today.
In a separate event, Nashik Divisional Revenue Commissioner Rajaram Mane planted saplings at Dhondegaon village to observe "Krishi Din", a state government release stated.
