National Blind Cricket Tournament: Haryana win against AP

Haryana defeated Andhra Pradesh by 49 runs on the second day of 24th National Cricket Tournament for the Blind here today.

Put into bat, Haryana scored 332 for 4 wickets in 35 overs. Deepak Malik hit 180 runs in 87 balls and his knock comprised 31 fours and two sixes.

Malik also shone with the ball grabbing five wickets for 46 runs.

D Krishna scored 119 runs in 83 balls (16 X 4 and 1X 6) but his ton went in vain as Andhra Pradesh were bundled out for 283, a media release said today.

In other match of the day, Gujarat managed to eke out a five run win against Uttar Pradesh.
 

Electing to bat, Gujarat skipper Ganesh Gavit scored 136 runs in 48 balls with 24 boundaries and five sixes as they put up 223 for 1 on the board, the release added.

Gujarat managed to bowl out UP for 218 in 27.5 overs , with their skipper Gavit bagging four wickets.
