Navin Puri joins Equitas Small Finance Bank as Non-Executive

Equitas Small Finance Bank Thursday said Navin Puri has been appointed as its Non-Executive Independent Director.

Puri has over three decades of expertise in banking and financial services in HDFC and ANZ Grindlays Bank, Equitas Small Finance Bank said in a statement.

Prior to taking up the new role, he was serving HDFC Bank as its Group Head.

Welcoming Puri on-board, Equitas Small Finance Bank, Managing Director and CEO, P N Vasudevan said "Navin Puri is known for being both people and process driven person with sound understanding of Indian Financial Retail Market".

"His in-depth experience in financial distribution network, spanning across India including rural geography will enable us towards promoting and sustaining Equitas Small Finance Bank as a client centric organisation", he said.
