Opposition National Conference (NC) today held a joint meeting of party members of both the houses here to formulate a strategy for the ensuing Budget Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislature.
NC working president and legislative party leader Omar Abdullah chaired the joint meeting at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan, a party spokesperson said.
He said that the meeting was held to formulate a strategy and discuss issues to be taken up during the ensuing Budget Session.

"The meeting discussed various issues likely to be taken up in the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council during the session," the spokesperson said.
Abdullah, the former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, hoped that the members would vociferously take up the issues of immense public importance with a special focus on difficulties faced by the people in their constituencies as well as in the state.
