NDMC issues notices to 352 defaulters for Rs 23 lakh dues

With their electricity and water dues amounting to Rs 23 lakh, 352 defaulters have been issued notices by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to clear their dues at the earliest.

"We have issued notices to the the defaulters in non-gazetted category who have not paid their electricity and water dues since last 6 months," the civic body said in a statement today.

"NDMC has total 15000 consumers in non-gazetted category out of which 352 numbers have not paid their electricity and water dues amounting to Rs 23 lakhs since last six months. For recovery notices to these consumers have been issued," it added.
