NE Choir groups perform at meet

Choir groups from different parts of North East enthralled audience as the Choir Music Festival of the AIR began.

Teams from Kohima, Imphal, Agartala, Aizawl and Shillong participated in the event even as young talents sang in different dialects spoken by the indigenous people in these states.

The day was celebrated every year marking Mahatma Gandhi's first and last speech from the studio of AIR in Delhi.
