Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki today advised public sector NEDFi to roll out a scheme similar to 'Delhi Haat' in Arunachal Pradesh to promote local items.
Such 'Haat' would also boost tourism in the state, Tuki told a meeting with NEDFi official in Guwahati, a government release said here.
He also called for mass awareness programme so that the common people could avail benefits from NEDFi.
While responding to the request for a plot of land at Itanagar for NEDFi branch office, Tuki assured to provide all possible assistance.
While interacting with the delegates of New India Assurance Co Ltd, Tuki asked it to ensure speedy issuance of smart card to the beneficiaries of the Chief Minister's Universal Health Insurance Scheme.
