Nepal national arrested with contraband

A Nepal national was arrested from near the Indo-Nepal border for allegedly possessing narcotics worth over Rs 21 lakh, a Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) official said today.

Krishna Kumar Dhamal, a resident of Bhairhawa in Nepal, was arrested by SSB from Trilopur check-point and charas worth over Rs 21 lakh in the international market was seized from him, SSB Commandant B D Sonar said.

An investigation into the matter is on, he added.
