NEPIC team visits city seeking biz opportunities

A delegation of 16 North East of England Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC) today visited the city in a bid to seek out new opportunities for their businesses and the region.

The firms, accompanied by NEPIC, are actively involved in the supply chain of the region's chemical processing sector.

The delegation met government officials, including Karnataka Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee, and visited businesses operating in special economic zone, an official release said here.

The delegation, accompanied by British MP Iain Wright, is on a 10-day trip to prime chemical and pharmaceutical regions across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Orissa.
