New-born baby girl found abandoned in bushes

A new-born baby girl was found abandoned near a forest area here today, police said.

The baby was spotted lying near bushes along the Agral-Mumbai national highway by locals, who informed the police.

She was admitted to the local government hospital where she is battling for life, the police said, adding that efforts were on to identify her mother.
