: The Vidyabharathi Group of Institutions today announced the launch of new courses in Hospitality Management.
The courses are: Diploma and PG diploma in Hotel Management and Diploma and PG Diploma in Catering.
While the diploma courses are for 6 months and three months intership at reputed hotel groups, the PG Diploma courses are for 9 months and three months intership at hotels, N A Muhammed Kutty, Chief Patron of the institutions told reporters.
The hotel and tourism industry is growing with the globalisation and robust growth of the world economy. Studetns will develop professional hospitlity competencies such as food and beverage oeprations, hospitality accountind as well as good customer service skills through both classroom learning and on the job training, he said
The group has earlier started courses in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Supply chain Managemnt, and Banking among others as they were employment oriented.
